Bitch Slap (2010) is a action/exploitation film directed by Rick Jacobson and written by Eric Gruendemann and Rick Jacobson for Bombshell Pictures and IM Global. Starring Julia Voth, Erin Cummings, America Olivo, Ron Melendez, William Gregory Lee, Minae Noji, and Michael Hurst as “Gage”. Bitch Slap is “a post-modern, thinking man’s throwback to the B-movie/exploitation films of the 1950’s – 70’s as well as a loving, sly parody of the same.”

When a down-on-her-luck stripper (Julia Voth), a drug-running killer (America Olivo) and a ball-busting businesswoman (Erin Cummings) try to retrieve stolen jewels from a ruthless gangster’s hideout, they find themselves competing against an assortment of bizarre criminals – and each other. It’s an adrenaline-fueled cocktail of bodacious bad girls, sex, violence and cleavage that’ll leave you intoxicated for days!

Girls, guns or zombies? Voluptuous girls, guns, swords and double-crosses!

Unrated. 109 minutes. Watch the HD trailer here …

Bitch Slap features cameos by Lucy Lawless, Kevin Sorbo and Renée O’Connor. Oh, and Zoë Bell, who is featured as “Rawhide”, was the film’s stunt coordinator!

My thoughts… Bitch Slap was inspired by exploitation films such as Dragstrip Girl (1957) and Russ Meyer’s Faster Pussycat, Kill, Kill (1965), but it adds a whole lot of plot twists, colorful characters and stylish action! A follower of my other blog once asked for a movie recommendation, and added: “I love weapons, dark stuff, and beautiful ladies.” I recommended Bitch Slap!
