Don’t Move (2013) is a short British horror film directed by Anthony Melton and written by David Scullion. Starring Rachel Bright, Jake Hendriks, Beth Cooper, Kate Braithwaite, Martin Skipper, Calvin Dean, and Ian Whyte. Don’t Move is episode 8 of Bloody Cuts, “an anthology of short horror films presented online as a free web series for the love and passion of UK horror filmmaking.”

Set on one fateful night, six friends gather for their monthly ‘games night’… and accidentally unleash a demonic force that might tear them – and their friendships – to pieces. ‘Don’t Move’ represents the directorial debut of Bloody Cuts producer Anthony Melton, and his love of horror classics such as Hellraiser ensured ‘Don’t Move’ has become a tense, disturbing and brutally bloody short.

My thoughts… Don’t Move is a brilliant horror short! Brutal, bloody and intense! It throws you right smack into the supernatural mishap as if you already know what occurred up to that point. We’ve seen the setup before a million times. Friends get together for a weekend. They start drinking and decide to have some innocent fun with a ouija board. Then, all Hell breaks loose. This movie begins shortly after Hell has, in fact, broken loose.
