Gasoline Thrill is an English punk rock band from London. Formed by Samara Kain (vocals/guitars) in late 2009 as Catfight, an all-girl band with Martha Lewis (guitars) and Monica Nix (bass). They changed their name to Gasoline Thrill in October 2011 after Dave Guy (drums) joined. The band is recommended if you like The Distillers, Hole, The Runaways, Joan Jett & the Blackhearts, etc.

Girls, guns or zombies? English punk rock girls and guitars!

My thoughts… Gasoline Thrill is an awesome U.K. punk band that I stumbled upon by chance while perusing new releases on cdbaby! Burn is aptly named, as is the band itself, since their debut is full of fiery punk rockers with blazing vocals, red-hot riffs and enough hooks to keep the flames stoked! Gasoline Thrill sounds most like Hole and/or The Distillers, and I’m a sucker for that kind of girl punk!
