Blood on the Highway (2008) is an American horror/comedy film directed by Barak Epstein and Blair Rowan for BOH Productions. Written by Blair Rowan and Chris Gardner. Starring Deva George, Robin Gierhart, Nate Rubin; with Tom Towles and Nicholas Brendon.

On the way to a rock concert, Sam (Nate Rubin), Carrie (Robin Gierhart) and Bone (Deva George) accidentally wander into a town populated by blood-thirsty, dim-witted vampires. With no way to escape, they join the last remaining humans and prepare for an all-out, no-holds-barred battle with an army of the undead.

Rated R. 97 minutes. Watch the trailer here …

My thoughts… Blood on the Highway is a low-budget, ameteurishly-acted B-movie! However, its also a cleverly-written, hysterically funny independent horror/comedy with¬†enthusiastic performances! The script is stocked with memorable lines! Oh, and Robin Gierhart is soooo adorable! She kind of looks like Sarah Michelle Gellar which is kind of weird since Gellar’s Buffy the Vampire Slayer co-star Nicholas Brendon is featured in Blood on the Highway!
