Hex Girls are an all-female eco-goth rock band from Oakhaven, MA. The band is led by sultry Thorn (voiced by Jennifer Hale) on vocals/guitar, with Dusk (voiced by Jane Wiedlin, ex-The Go-Go’s) on drums/backing vocals, and Luna (voiced by Kimberly Brooks) on keyboards/backing vocals. Thorn, Dusk and Luna occasionally help Fred, Daphne, Velma, Shaggy, and Scooby-Doo solve mysteries.

My thoughts… Thorn must’ve put a spell on me because I love the Hex Girls! They’re my favorite cartoon rock band! Why? Well, first, Thorn is sexy! Second, “Hex Girls” is a cool song! Finally, “Good Bad Girls” is an AWESOME song! The Hex Girls play “Good Bad Girls” against zombie ska band Rude Boy and the Ska-tastics“Yer Dead Right Mate” in a Scott Pilgrim vs. the World-inspired showdown in my favorite Hex Girls episode! Both songs were written by Dave Wakeling who also provides the vocals for Rude Boy! I would love to hear pop/punkers The Dollyrots cover “Good Bad Girls” [even though The Dollyrots are a girl and a boy]! I’m hoping that, one day, the Hex Girls will be featured in a live-action Scooby-Doo movie. Or, better yet – in their own fan film! Ooh, ex-Disney star Grace Phipps should play Thorn!
