My thoughts… Red Balloon is another variation of “The Clown Statue” urban legend in which a teenage babysitter is unaware of a psychotic killer hiding in her ward’s bedroom. It’s a familiar scenario but it works once again in this effectively scary thriller! See also Bloody Cuts’ Stitches (here). Oh, and check out actress Rachel Bright in Bloody Cuts’ brilliant horror short Don’t Move (here).
