Faces of March was an alternative pop/rock band from Miami, FL, fronted by Gea Gamboa (vocals), with Joe (guitar), Marcelo (bass), and Eli (drums). Recommended for fans of Evanescence, Flyleaf, UnSaid Fate, Shinedown, Breaking Benjamin, Three Days Grace, etc.

Selected discography (Faces of March):

Confessions (2008). 10 tracks. Choice cuts: “Wanna Be”, “Maybe”, “Who’s To Blame”, “Alone”, “Nothing”, “Too Late”. Other good cuts: “Broken”, “Drowning”, “Not Enough”, “Turn Around”.

Sadly, no videos.

Post-Faces of March, Gea Gambo and producer/co-songwriter Paul Trust formed The Cleopatra Complex (formerly All the Pretty Cars). The Cleopatra Complex mixes influences from rock, reggae, and electronica.

Selected videos (The Cleopatra Complex):

My thoughts… Faces of March certainly didn’t revolutionize the alternative scene with Confessions. However, the album delivered ten solid tracks of radio-friendly alt-rock driven by crunchy riffs, addictive hooks and Gea Gamboa’s killer vocals! You can’t start Confessions at the first track and not be compelled to listen all the way to the end! I think Gamboa was only, like, 15 when she was in Faces of March!
