My thoughts… “Bam-Snap!” Bloodsucking Bastards is the best vampire horror comedy since Blood on the Highway! Bloodsucking Bastards is like Office Space – with vampires! Or, as the filmmakers say, “Office Space meets Shaun of the Dead.” Dedicated drone Evan (Fran Kranz from Cabin in the Woods), useless slacker Tim (Joey Kern from Cabin Fever) and amped-up security guard Frank (Marshall Givens) must fight for their jobs and to save Evan’s girlfriend Amanda (Emma Fitzpatrick) after their co-workers are turned into soulless bloodsuckers by Evan’s college nemesis Max (Pedro Pascal) who was recently promoted to sales manager much to Evan’s dismay. Bloodsucking Bastards is a funny, and surprisingly bloody, send-up of corporate America – and vampires! Oh, and Emma Fitzpatrick is so adorable as a woman, you know, with a lesbian haircut. That’s a line from the movie – the lesbian haircut thing.
