Deadly Class is a comic book fan film “shot, chopped and directed” by Jim Skinner for Green Screen Cinema. Starring Henry Lee as “Marcus Arguello” and Myra Borja as “Maria Salazar” and “Saya Otsuko”. Inspired by the Deadly Class comic created by Rick Remender and Wes Craig.

It’s 1987 and homeless teenager Marcus Arguello has no reason to keep living, until one fateful evening when he is approached by a mysterious girl from the King’s Dominion Atelier of the Deadly Arts. This fan film is based on the comic created by Rick Remender and Wes Craig.

Not rated. 6:36 run time. Watch the film here …

My thoughts… Rick Remender and Wes Craig’s Deadly Class – published by Image Comics – is a bad-ass, action-packed comic book series and Jim Skinner’s fan film is a faithful adaptation of the first 14 pages of the very first issue! Marcus hops onto Saya’s motorcycle at her request and he is left wondering who this cigarette-smoking, bike-riding, bad-ass girl is and we are left wondering when Jim Skinner is going to continue the story! He’s such a tease! Oh, and in other news, I think I have fallen madly in love with beautiful actress Myra Borja! Sigh.
