My thoughts… Scherzo Diabolico is twisted psychological thriller that begins with a meticulously-planned kidnapping but ends with an unforeseen brutal and bloody rampage. Aram (Francisco Barreiro) is an accountant who is underappreciated at work and at home. So, he kidnaps schoolgirl Anabela (Daniela Soto Vell). Why? Well, Aram’s motive gives this film its clever twist while the consequences of his actions give you a crack to the head with Anabela’s baseball bat! Scherzo Diabolico is a very slow burn but the payoff is worth your patience. You won’t soon forget this movie. Scherzo Diabolico is disturbing and brilliant!
