My thoughts… So, I’ve come across Riddle of the Mask on YouTube numerous times but I never watched it – until now. Silly me. Riddle of the Mask is a tense, well-acted film, I love that it’s a Batman fan film but the truth is that it would’ve worked as an original crime thriller as well. Imagine that The Huntress is a detective and The Riddler is a crime boss trying to learn the identity of an undercover agent within his organization. It would work. Anyway, a good fan film deserves a sequel..

Truth of the Mask (2014) is the sequel to Riddle of the Mask. Directed by Justin Zagri for Broad Strokes Productions. Story by Adam Zagri & Justin Zagri. Written by Justin Zagri, Shawn Christopher Lebert and Adam Zagri. Starring Kevin Porter as “Bruce Wayne”, Charissa Saverio as “The Huntress”, Beau Marie as “The Riddler”, Aaron Schoenke as “Richard Grayson”, and Noel Kathleen as “Talia Al Ghul”.

Three months after Huntress’ capture by The Riddler, Bruce Wayne invites her to a charity where they confront “The Riddler” with his newfound knowledge of the greatest riddler of all.

Not rated. 19:55 run time.

My thoughts… Truth of the Mask is a fine follow-up to Riddle of the Mask but the truth is that I like Riddle much more!
