My thoughts… “So if you’re up for catchy choruses, strong lyrics and powerful live performances, Trash Candy might just be your new favourite band.” That’s what they say. Well, Trash Candy is my new favorite band! I found Trash Candy when the video for “Should Have Listened” appeared as a recommendation on YouTube while I was looking for new videos by The Dollyrots for my recent update (here). I clicked on it and I was hooked! Well, the truth is that listening to the singles “The Way I Feel Now” and “LoneWolf” helped to seal the deal! “Something To Believe In”, “Wasted” and “You Matter” should all be singles as well! Shana has a fantastic voice and sings with nary an accent to be heard. Listen to all the songs from Trash Candy‘s recent album Focus on YouTube (here) with intros by the lovely vocalist herself. Then, go buy the album! The band’s previous vocalist Pija has a great voice with nary an accent, too. I think she sounds a little bit like Nina Gordon [ex-Veruca Salt]. Hopefully, Trash Candy is working on album #4 [Shana’s album #2]!

So, check ’em out because “Trash Candy might just be your new favourite band!”
