We Ride is a hardcore punk band from Vigo, Spain, formed in 2009. They are Mimi Telmo (vocals), Borja Trigo (guitar), Nuno Alves (guitar), Bastian Rodriguez (bass), and Brais Lomba (drums). Highly recommended for fans of All for Nothing, Walls of Jericho, Sick of It All, Agnostic Front, Madball, etc.

If you take a cruise down mid-90’s aggressive hardcore and socially-minded punk rock, you’ll be at the intersection of We Ride – the most rejuvenating hardcore band in years, revolutionizing a movement that never dies.

My thoughts… Imagine if Zack de la Rocha [ex-Rage Against the Machine] was a cute Spanish girl fronting a hardcore punk band – that’s what We Ride kind of sounds like. Mimi Telmo – that cute Spanish girl – shouts her confrontational lyrics at a furious pace, in English no less, over her band’s explosive punk rock sending out a call to arms! We Ride‘s songs aren’t radio-friendly but they are ready for revolution! If the band’s new songs “Self Made” and “What You Are” are of any indication, I think We Ride‘s upcoming 3rd album Empowering Life [due April 14] is going to be one of my favorite albums of 2017!
